Kubanychbek Jumaliev

Kubanychbek Jumaliev (Кубанычбек Мырзабекович Жумалиев) (b. April 26, 1956) is Kyrgyz politician. He graduated from Ryazan Radiotechnical Institute in 1978 and worked in Frunze Polytechnic Institute between 1978 and 1992. He was First Deputy Minister of Education and Science (1994-1995), First Deputy State Secretary (1995-1996), Chief of Staff (1996-1998), Prime Minister (March 24 - December 23, 1998), Jalal-Abad Province Governor (1998-2001), Minister of Transport and Communications (2001-2005) and First Vice Prime Minister (2002-2005).
