KTYS, branded as The Texas Twister or just The Twister, is a country music station located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and broadcasts at 96.7 FM.

The station first started out as KMEO: Memories 96.7 FM, playing Oldies and Easy listening music from the 1950s to the 1970s, much like its competitor station KLUV-FM. On June 27, 2003, the "Memories" format was dropped. Previously live, local programming was briefly replaced by ABC Radio's corporate "Memories" satellite programming on June 26, 2003. The KMEO callsign has been reassigned in the San Angelo area.

Thus 96.7 The Twister was "born" a month later with a music line-up consisting of mostly modern country music that is broadcast in "20-in-a-row" segments. It is part of the ABC Radio Group, owned by the ABC/Disney family and managed locally at 2221 East Lamar Blvd., Suite 300 - Arlington, Texas 76006. The Twister touched down in the summer of 2003 with 20,000 songs in a row without commercial interruption. The station's motto is "The Most New Country In Texas". Disney has announced that it would sell its ABC Radio holdings including KTYS to Citadel Broadcasting. The sale is expected to close by the end of 2006.

The current DJ line-up consists of:
Crash (Weekdays: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
Jeremy Robinson (Weekdays: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Saturday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
