KTX Family Card is membership program and membership card of Korail. This card is issued by International Pass and Commerce, subsidiary of Korail.

In 1980s, National Railroad Administration started to issue Railroad Membership Card. This membership card only has a membership number on it, and this type of card is widely used until 1998. In 1998, new menbership card with magnetic band and quick-ticket machine was introduced. Though quick-ticket machine has many benefits, this machine and new card was not came into wide use. Finally, in 2004, KTX Family Card with IC chip was introduced.

  • save 3% of ticket fare as mileage (X-point)
  • Mybi card service (X-cash, a part of standard transportation card system)
  • electronical KTX train ticket (X-ticket)
  • free admission for Railroad Museum, and KTX Family Lounge
  • 5~20% discount at Bennigans, Pizza Hut, Java Coffee, Burger King in Seoul, and Busan Station
