KTFO is an abbreviation for the phrase "knocked the fuck out" made popular by the character Smokey, played by comedian Chris Tucker, in the motion picture Friday. Smokey comically declares "You got knocked the fuck out!" when the movie's bully Deebo knocks out DJ Pooh with a big uppercut when he came to ask for his bike to be returned.

The phrase also has considerable popularity in mixed martial art culture, to describe a fight that ends with a powerful strike.
