Krupina (hungarian: Korpona) is a town in central Slovakia.

The first written reference to the town dates back to 1135.

It is part of Banská Bystrica region and it is the seat of Krupina District. The town has 7 991 inhabitants(2002), and it's area is 88,6 km².
