User:ThunderPower87: Oh, that sucks though, because it's supposed to have INFO ABOUT JEPH! I hate Wikipedia sometimes.
[edit] Template:Steven Spielberg's films
As the result of a dispute over its previous TFD, the template showing Spielberg's films has been folded into a discussion of similar templates and renominated for deletion. I am contacting everyone who voted on the original TFD so that they will have another chance to make sure their opinion is heard.
The new vote is here.

[edit] Re: Need help on image tag
I was wondering if you could tell me whether this image is public domain or not? I found it at a site that's co-owned (or entirely owned) by the University of Virginia.--Kross 06:53, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
- In my opinion, this image is in the public domain under US law; it is a 1850 portrait, which puts it well outside the 120 year maximum length of copyright. Any copyright it may have once have is now long since expired. Kelly Martin 12:14, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for fixing that broken link on my user page. Take care, Horatii/Dbraceyrules 01:31, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Move
Please, never, never, ever use copy and paste to move an article. Use the "move" tab at the top. If the destination is only a redirect to the current page, and has no other edits (as would have been the case in Grand Moff Tarkin) then the move will work. --Golbez 19:37, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Deleting A Page.
I'm new so I don't know how, so how do you delete a page?--Obi-WanKenobi-2005
[edit] Darth Ruin
The name "Darth Ruin" originates in Vader: The Ultimate Guide, which is a relatively new source, though the character himself goes back to Terry Brooks's The Phantom Menace novelization. Jon Hart 18:45, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] qc image
well i linked it. and i didnt think any QC fan would have a problem with adding an image of some of jeph's art. who did u suppose i should get permission from? Jeph or the maker of the image? Reinedeflammes 18:52, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] TIE/rc Vanguard- borderline fancruft
Hey Kross- When that TIE/rc article popped up on new pages yesterday, I briefly considered taking it over to VfD but decided instead to merge it to TIE Fighter. TIE/rc's don't appear in any of the SW films and as far as I know only have only brief appearances in the EU continuity. The picture you uploaded looks like a regular ol' TIE Fighter to me, too. :) If you think that you can make that article into something bigger than the stub w/image it is now, go for it. Otherwise I'm going to take it over to VfD in a few days and see what happens. Cheers, Fernando Rizo T/C 15:52, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
- You replied: It has an entry at the Star Wars databanks, which is the official Star Wars site. Thats enough for me to consider it canon.--Kross 18:20, August 1, 2005 (UTC) on my talk page.
- Canonical or not, do you think there's enough to merit it's own article as opposed to a redirect and a ==Variant== subsection on the TIE Fighter main article? There's plenty of space there for it. I'm just afraid that TIE/rc is never going to be much more than a stub and the next editor to come around will just merge it right back like I did. [edit] Thanks and you can help by....
Thank you for the compliment on the Nighthawk article. Rightnow I'm having a problem with a user calling himself apostrophe eleminating all of the marvel supervillains from the marvel supervillains category list. He has removed Doctor Doom, Doctor Octopus, Sabretooth, Hobgoblin, etc. Many characters who are pretty much involved in multiple books. This guy is only doing this to be annoying and it would be a big help is others helped to stop him. Thanks. I'm thinking about reporting him for vandalism all though it probably won't do much good. [edit] Troubles
Hi, I reverted your recent edit on the Troubles article, because it consisted of changing the spelling of words to their American English versions. From my reading of the style guide, the original spellings were correct as these are the versions that are used in Ireland, which is the subject of the article. I hope this makes sense, send me a message if not. --Ryano 17:25, 13 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight
As a member of WikiProject Comics, I thought you might be interested in the Comics Collaboration of the Fortnight we have set up. Please feel free to vote on the articles listed, although bear in mind that a vote for a particular article means you are pledging to help improve the article. The goal of the collaboration is to improve articles to Featured Article status, as we feel Comics is under-represented in that area. Thanks for your help. [edit] Summaries
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:16, 8 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Force Ghost
the phrase force ghost is totally gone from the article about jedi. if you redirect, add something in or paste that information over. i reverted as it's more a phenomena than a status.
