[edit] Removed self-bio

I am the teacher named and these are the facts:
In mid December 2005 I took part in a survey about weight lose and the effects it has on sex life. The comments I made in that were tongue and cheek and were not sexually explicit.
I was not working in education at the time I did the Mirror survey and the Cosmopolitan article shortly after this in January, whereby I went topless for a breast awareness and health feature with 14 other women who also took part.
Then in February the agency asked me to go to Harvey Boys Grammar school on trial as a temporary music teacher. I was then after half-term encouraged to apply for a permanent position that became available, because they were pleased with my work and professionalism. Knowing full well that I had been in the Mirror and the Cosmopolitan gave me an interview on 17th March. The deadline was 10th March.
During my interview on the 17th I said to the head of dept about the cosmopolitan feature and he found no fault in doing this, as I asked him could this affect my application he said no.
I didn't get the job.
But I was asked by the supply agency Link Education as I phoned and told them they wanted me to stay on until the end of May to which I agreed.
No further mention was made to me with regards to the Cosmopolitan health feature by anyone in the school. The pupils never mentioned anything to me either, until I was asked by the Head teacher to attend a meeting at 2.50pm 20th April in his office without warning and without union representation.
When I went along to his office, he read a list of things out to me mentioning NOT my TEACHING ability but made a lot of reference about the Mirror survey, OFSTED and the Cosmopolitan health feature reading out quotes, all of which I took part in BEFORE I started to work there as a supply teacher.
Then at the end after I told him the Cosmo feature was for educational purposes aimed at women and was for charity, his reply was then my services are no longer required as the local press have found an interest.
On Friday 21st April My uncle Jim came with me to Folkestone Herald offices to inquire about a supposed article, the editor knew nothing of it, and fobbed us off.
On Thursday 27th April I made front page news in the Folkestone Herald, obviously the school had been in contact with the journalist but NO-ONE approached me for my comment, especially as I was classed in the same way as a colleague who downloaded porn from a school computer. This was also re-iterated on BBC South East today and in media sources. No -One asked me why I did something that was educational for woman.

I have omitted this in its entirety, as I believe the Wikipedia concensus is that editing one's own bio is in bad form; these details should come from an objective party. ~ Booyabazooka 19:52, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
