Kristin Herrera (born February 21, 1989 in, Los Angeles, California) is an American actress,of Mexican and Puerto Rican desent, known for having played "Dana Cruz" in the Nickelodeon TV show Zoey 101.

Kristin Herrera grew up in California; she has two older brothers and enjoys playing sports. It was confirmed that among her other hobbies, she enjoys surfing, playing basketball, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and softball. She cites her best friend as Brenda Song, who plays London Tipton on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Kristin was casted in Zoey 101.She originally auditioned for the part of Nicole (Played by Alexa Nikolas but the producers thought she would be better suited to play Dana. In Zoey 101 she played a sarcastic tough girl who is unafraid of defending herself. In this role, Herrera worked alongside co-stars Jamie Lynn Spears, and Alexa Nikolas. She had to leave the show because the producers’ thought she looked "too old" for the role. She played a role in the film 'Freedom writers' that will soon be released.
