Krishnagiri is a town in Tamil Nadu state of southern India. It is also called as 'New Baby of TamilNadu' because its a newly formed district.It is the administrative headquarters of Krishnagiri District.
It has a nice Dam KRP Dam.Its a main junction to proceed towards south.It is near to the border of Karnataka and Andra pradesh. Krishnagiri holds a Guiness record of making highest variety of sweets more than 1300 types.
Aghraharam consists of two temples Amba Bhavani temple and Vittala Rakumai temple yearly Saptha festival during june/july is conducted in a grand manner.
