Talk:Kraftwerk discography
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page is not ready to be linked to at the moment – I haven't finalized the basic layout style yet. Once that is done I will build up the listing album by album, adding missing cover scans where necessary (mostly the later German albums).
I see this as being an illustrated ready-reference to the much more discursive individual album project pages, as the albums are the core works of Kraftwerk's artistic output (most singles are subordinate components of these albums).
Non-album singles (Tour de France, Expo2000) will be shown as independent entities in the listing but not singles comprised of tracks otherwise available on albums. Most rock/pop discographies are collector's attempts to list the various commercial permutations of releases, including alternative versions, re-issues and compilations; this is intended more as a straight-forward chronological list of recordings, grouped as (mostlty album) projects. So: no compilations of old recordings, Japanese re-issues, etc.
The Mix will be included as it is an official recording of new arrangements, despite being otherwise a compilation. Ditto Minimum-Maximum. Ricadus 22:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
