Krasnoslobodsk (Russian: Краснослобо́дск) is a town in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Volga River across from Volgograd. Population: 14,500 (2005 est.); 14,359 (2002 Census).
Krasnoslobodsk was founded as a khutor Bakatin. After 1917, it was renamed to Krasnaya Sloboda. In 1955, it was given its present name and granted town status.
