Kraig Kann

Kraig Kann (born on May 3, 1966 in LaGrange, Illinois) is The Golf Channel's top on-air personality, a position he's held at the cable television network since its launch in 1995. He is one of three on-air personalities, the others being Brian Hammons and Mike Ritz, to be with The Golf Channel since its launch. Kann (pronounced as can) is the network's chief anchor and host. He serves as an anchor of The Golf Channel's Golf Central, and Academy Live and has also served as a play-by-play announcer for the network's PGA TOUR, LPGA, and Nationwide Tour coverage. He's also reported on-site for the network's coverage of The Masters, the U.S. Open, the Open Championship, the PGA Championship, and the Ryder Cup.
Kann is a 1988 graduate of the University of Missouri. His previous stints in reporting have taken place in Kalamazoo, Fort Myers, Columbus, Georgia, and Columbia, Missouri. Kann is married with three children (two of whom are twins, to which his Golf Channel bio credits him as saying, "Having twins is twice the fun."), and his golfing handicap is 7.
