[edit] Plot
SpongeBob is watching a scary movie at night with Gary, and is freaked out. He keeps on fearing a robot invasion, and even asks Gary if he's a robot. He has a nightmare that robots are taking over the world and are chasing him. At work, he is very cautious, and is under the impression that robots are "everywhere". He later finds evidence that Mr. Krabs is a robot, although the audience is informed that the evidence is accidental. SpongeBob sees Mr. Krabs "speaking" in a robot language (really just singing to some music), wearing batteries (the batteries were dead and he had put them in his pocket to save them and give them to his daughter Pearl for Christmas), and glowing red eyes (he accidentally threw salt into his eyes while trying to salt a hard-boiled egg because SpongeBob screamed his name).
After collecting enough evidence, he tells and proves to Squidward that Mr. Krabs is a robot. They begin to interrogate some machines while Mr. Krabs is tied up, demanding the location of the 'real Mr. Krabs'. Since they don't reply, SpongeBob and Squidward start smashing them (In total, they smashed $120.12 worth of items excluding 'the gift' - a coffee maker). When they come to the cash register, Mr. Krabs cries, and it is revealed that he isn't a robot. SpongeBob reveals the end of the movie (the robots were only their imagination), and runs off, leaving Squidward in trouble.

- Comcast's guide information for this episode and Rock-a-Bye Bivalve includes the line "SpongeBob sells candy bars door-to-door. Later, Mr. Krabs is accused of being a robot." The former line mistakenly came from Chocolate with Nuts, there's no information about the latter cartoon in this episode, and this cartoon is the first part of the episode, instead of after the bivalve cartoon, as it was believed to be said in the cable service's information.
