A photo taken from the left side of the Krag-Petersson, showing the action in the down position with a round of ammo in the 'bed'. To fire the weapon, the shooter would have to manually insert the round in the chamber by pushing it forward. The uncropped, unresized original is avilable here, or at least was avilable the 18th August 2005.
[edit] Fair use for Krag-Petersson
The image Krag-Petersson_Round_on_breechblock.jpg is being linked here; though the picture is originally copyrighted I (WegianWarrior 06:28, 18 August 2005 (UTC)) feel it is covered by fair use because:
- No public domain image of the Krag-Petterson with a round of ammo on the 'bed' of the breechblock could be found.
- It is of lower resuloution than the original image, as well as cropped. It can therefore not be used to reproduse good copies.
- The photo is used for informative and educational purposes only.
I, the uploader, also feels that the photo adds significant value to the article, as it makes it much easier to visualise the way the Krag-Petersson operates. WegianWarrior 06:28, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
