[edit] Koy or Ty?
I tagged the article as "not verified" because I'm worried the section about the 1998 season might actually be about his brother Ty Detmer. -- Northenglish 07:04, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- I understand the confusion, because his brother Ty played in Philadelphia from 1996-97.[1] But this is about Koy. This link [2] shows that Hoying, Peete, and Koy Detmer were the QBs for Philadelphia that year, and this link [3] shows Koy's game by game stats. The entry is mistaken in stating that Koy's big game was in the season finale, it was the next-to-last game, so I'll fix that. Otherwise, I think it's fair to remove the "not verified" tag... though admittedly, this whole entry needs work. Anson2995 01:44, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright violation
On further examination, everything in the "Pro Career" and "Personal Bio" appears to have been copied verbatim from Detmer's page at the NFL Players website. [4]. That content appeared in the firext version of this page, so the only proper thing to do is remove it. I'll make a point to write an original entry within the next few days, unless somebody beats me to it. Anson2995 01:54, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
