[edit] RE: this map: Image:Auckland.PNG
Sir, my source was Wikipedia! I took this map: Image:Position_of_Taranaki.png And then I tweaked it. Not only Auckland, but for EVERY city in New Zealand. Silly! WikiDon 18:40, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] "Resources for collaboration-wide" Template
I am writing to tell you that I have listed this template for deletion. It is a duplicate of Template:Resources for collaboration, but in a wide format. You and I are the only users who used this template, and it often became out-of-date. Although I created the template, I now believe it's more trouble than it's worth, so I am proposing to the community that it be deleted.
The discussion is located at Templates for Deletion. Your input is welcome.

[edit] The accents @ {{Wdefcon}}
Accents aren't normal to English, but that's a haiku (Hence the solidi to deliniate line breaks/carriage returns) which requires a set number of syllables per line. Hence the descender-accent (Gravè) is used in poetic printint to indicate the location of the stressed syllable(s) if they're in non normal location (cf. Spanish ascender-accents (áéíóú). Hence returned (re-turnd) > returnèd (re-turn-ED) to satisfy the metrical requirements. 68.39.174.238 10:38, 26 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Help with interpretation.
Hello,
I discovered your username today because an article you edited was on my watchlist. From what I gather, most of your contributions are to the French Wikipedia project. Could you please help me with the article on Eugene Soubeiran? I created it a while ago, but most of the resources I could find on the subject were in French. I am concerned about the accuracy regarding the content of the stub.
There are some external links that I have included with the article. Could you please use these sources to verify the content of the stub? I would greatly appreciate it. Folajimi 16:52, 20 January 2006 (UTC)(talk)
- Hello again. There is a new article on Pierre Fouquier which needs to be checked for accuracy. Could you please verify the content of the stub as well? There is a google cache that was helpful in the creation of the stub. Is Académie des Sciences French for Academy of Medicine? Also please let me know if you have any other suggestions on how to proceed. Thanks! Folajimi(talk)
-
- Thanks for taking the time to update the article; your efforts are greatly appreciated. Based on your feedback, I will create a new stub for the other academy.
-
- Your question about the subject's birth year is a valid one. In fact, that year was what I initially included. However, I decided to revise that information because most references had 1776 as his birth year.
-
- The same goes for the middle name. I have no idea what the difference is between Eloi and Eloy. Could this be a masculine/feminine spelling matter? That is just a guess on my part. Also, I have seen articles where his middle name is written as Edouard; does that even seem credible to you??? Folajimi(talk)
[edit] Amelie Mauresmo
Hi,
I wanted to know why did you modify the number of Amelie Mauresmo's titles on her page from 21 to 20, since she has 20 singles titles PLUS one doubles title. It was changed to 21 earlier in the day with the update on her winning the Australian Open, I wondered why you changed that back and didn't want to re-change it again before asking you why you did this. Thanks for your time.Thiste 13:17, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
- Pas de problême ! C'est ce que je m'étais figuré :) A+ Thiste 13:56, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TLAdisambig
Yup, that one was removed from MOS:DP about a month ago, with little fanfare [1], so now it's just one disambig notice to rule them all. —Michael Z. 2006-02-17 19:15 Z
[edit] Cholmen etymology.
Hello,
Could you tell me what "Cholmen" means? It has been attributed to a historic French physician, but there are no articles on the subject. It baffles me, to say the least.
If you have any information on the matter (alternate spellings, root name, etc.), please let me know.
P.S. Did you get my email from about a week ago?

Is User:205.234.108.114 actually an open proxy? 205.234.108.114 has made 0 edits to (main) but has added their IP address to your User:Korg/OP/Tests page twice, and even requested an unblock for the block that followed after the first addition. [edit] wikEd
Hi, I have seen that you are using the Cacycle editor extension. This program is no longer actively maintained in favor of its much more powerful successor wikEd.
wikEd has all the functionality of the old editor plus: • syntax highlighting • nifty image buttons • more fixing buttons • paste formatted text from Word or web pages • convert the formatted text into wikicode • adjust the font size • and much, much more.
Switching to wikEd is easy, check the detailed installation description on its project homepage. Often it is as simple as changing every occurrence of editor.js into wikEd.js on your User:YourUsername/monobook.js page.

--Deni smailbegovic 02:54, 10 November 2006 (UTC) Please check our arguments in the talk section of that page (relatively important number of visitors from many countries, French version of the article approved). I hope that you'll remove your request, especially because of the fact that this service seems to be useful to many people.

[edit] Traduction....
Salut Korg!
J'ai fait la traduction de ce message depuis l'anglais (voir en bas) mais je ne suis pas très sur si j'ai traduit correctement. Pourriez-vous vérifiez?
To whom it may concern I am an amateur photographer who visited the Basillica in January 2006. I asked to take photos with a tripod and was requested to sign a document that I believe prohibited me from commercial use of the resulting photos. I had and have no intentions of selling the photo, however, I was very pleased with the result of the photo and uploaded it to Wikipedia, a free online encyclopedia. I uploaded it under a licence that states it is my own personal work but it, or derivatives of it, can be used for any purpose. Therefore, it has been pointed out that I may have broken the terms of the document that I signed. Could you please confirm exactly what restrictions there are on my photograph and whether you believe it should be removed from Wikipedia? For the record, the article on the Basillica is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre-Dame_de_Montr%C3%A9al_Basilica The photograph in question is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Notre-Dame_de_Montr%C3%A9al_Basilica_Jan_2006.jpg Wikipedia is commited to ensuring that no laws and will be forced to remove the image if it is determined that its use is in breach of the document I signed. That would be a shame, but I understand your need to control commercial photography inside the Basillica. Regards, David
Merci encore,
