Kortgene

Kortgene (51°33′N 3°48′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Noord-Beveland, and lies about 15 km east of Middelburg.

Kortgene received city rights in 1431.

In 2001, the town of Kortgene had 1188 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.35 km2, and contained 561 residences.[1] The statistical area "Kortgene", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 2000.[2]
