Korosten (Ukrainian: Коростень, translit. Korosten’) is a historic city in the Zhytomyr Oblast (province) of northern Ukraine. Serving as the administrative center of the Korostensky Raion (district), the city itself is also designated as a separate raion within the oblast, and is located on the Uzh River at around .
The current estimated population is around 66,669 (as of 2001).
