KoЯn Kovers is the tentative title to an upcoming cover compilation speculated to be released in 2006 by nu metal band KoЯn. There is currently no specific release date stated by the band. However, it is rumoured that it will be available prior to the release of the band's thus-far untitled eighth studio album. In an interview, vocalist Jonathan Davis stated that there are no explicit details for when the CD will be released, and that the album is just something the band will be working on during their spare time. The project was once rumoured to have died during the first quarter of 2005 when it failed to reach its unspecified April 2005 launch date. And while not much else has been mentioned about "Korn Kovers", it has been brought up by frontman Jonathan Davis, that the band still does intend on completing the project.

[edit] Track info
"Fight The Power" was originally intended to have been released exclusively on the compilation along with a collaboration with rapper Lil' Jon, but has since appeared on the XXX² soundtrack. The cover of Metallica's "One" has appeared as a bonus track on Take A Look In The Mirror and as a B-side from the Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life CD single release of "Did My Time", as well as Live And Rare released by Epic Records/Sony. However this is a live version taken from an Mtv program and not a studio take. "Love My Way" has been played on radio stations during interviews, and the MP3 circulated on the internet shortly after. It has been mentioned that Elijah Blue Allman from the band Deadsy appears to have provided backup vocals on the track.
KoЯn have released covers of "Lowrider", "Wicked (song), "Word Up!", "Another Brick in the Wall (Parts 1, 2, & 3)" and "Earache My Eye" which are also rumoured to be included.
