Korenovsk

Korenovsk (Russian: Корено́вск) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Beysuzhyok Levy River (a tributary of the Beysug) 64 km north-east of Krasnodar at 45°28′7″N, 39°27′7″E. Population: 40,844 (2002 Census).

Founded in 1794 as Korenovskoye (Корено́вское) settlement. Since the end of the 19th century—stanitsa Korenovskaya (Корено́вская). Town status since 1961.
