Konkrete

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Konkrete is an Atlanta, Georgia rap group signed to Big Boi of OutKast's Purple Ribbon Records.

[edit] Members

Konkrete is made up of rappers BlackOwned C-Bone, Supa Nate, and Lil' Brotha. Lil' Brotha is, fittingly, the younger brother of his label head, Big Boi.

[edit] Appearances

The first time any of the members were heard nationally was Supa Nate on an interlude from OutKast's Aquemini album called "Nathaniel". Each member rapped a verse on "Tomb Of The Boom", a song from Big Boi's half of Speakerboxx/The Love Below along with Big Gipp and Ludacris. The groups' songs "Shit Ya Drawers" and "Lovin This'" were featured on the label collective Got Purp Vol 2 album, while BlackOwned C-Bone rapped solo with Big Boi, Killer Mike, and Rock D on the lead single Kryptonite.

[edit] Debut Album

The group's debut album Mixed and Ready is scheduled to be released in 2006.
