Konakovo

Konakovo (Russian: Конаково) is a town in Tver Oblast, Russia. It is located on the right bank of the Ivankovo Reservoir (Volga River) at . Population: 42,335 (2002 Census); 42,522 (1989 Census). It is the administrative center of Konakovsky District. It was founded in 1806 and received town status in 1937.
