Das Bild zeigt das Münster während der kurzen Zeit zwischen Vollendung der Turmspitze 1853 und dem Abriss der Hauben auf den Seitentürmen 1854. Der Zeichner Dyckerhoff war selbst an den Bauarbeiten beteiligt.
