Koharu Kusumi (久住小春 Kusumi Koharu?, born July 15, 1992 in Niigata Prefecture, Japan), is the only 7th generation Morning Musume member (the last generation to only have one new member was the third generation with member Maki Goto). Before she joined Morning Musume she was the captain of her school's volleyball team. Koharu's audition process and debut was documented during the 2005 episodes of TV Tokyo television show, Hello! Morning.
Kusumi has been a member of the Hello! Project kickbase team Metro Rabbits H.P. since its formation in the beginning of 2006 and since April 7, 2006 she has been the voice actor for Kirari Tsukishima, the main character in the anime Kirarin Revolution (きらりん☆レボリューション?).

- Because her eyesight is bad, Koharu wears contacts.
- Coincidentally enough, Kirarin Revolution airs every Friday at 6:00 pm on TV Tokyo, a time slot which used to belong to Johnny & Associates (an organization created to promote bands such as SMAP, TOKIO, V6, etc) whose members Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Katori Shingo (from SMAP), played, for the first time, a role in the anime series, Hime-chan's Ribbon and Akazukin Chacha, respectively.
- After Makoto Ogawa, she is the second member to have come from Niigata.
- She is the youngest soloist to debut in Hello! Project, at the age of 12.
