Koert van Mensvoort

Koert van Mensvoort (born April 9, 1974) is a media artist and scientist.
Among his works are the short special effect film Amateurs, the documentary ‘The Woods smell of Shampoo’, about the tensed relation between reality and simulation, and the Datafountain, an internet enabled water fountain connected to money currency rates. He is the presenter and co-organizer of the Visual Power Show, an intellectual show about the power of image.
Koert works as parttime assistant professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology and teaches at the Sandberg Institute (postgraduate school of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy) in Amsterdam.
