Koba (folk hero)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Koba was a Georgian folk hero whose legend bears a resemblance to Robin Hood. The name Koba means, "The Indomitable." Koba was idolised by Josef Stalin as a boy. So great was his obsession with Koba, that he later took the name as a pseudonym.
Koba is the main character in the 1883 novel The Patricide by Alexander Kazbegi.
