Knoxville Zoo is an zoo located in Knoxville, TN.

The Knoxville Zoo has more than 800 animals and has had success breeding animals, especially Red Pandas and White Rhinos. The zoo also bred the first African elephant in captivity in the western hemsiphere, in 1978[1]. The zoo also has a large reptile collection and has a new area for children to play called the Clayton Family Kids Cove[2], opened in 2005. The zoo also hosts many events.

The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). It is located in East Knoxville near exit 392 of Interstate 40.
