[edit] Rewrite

I rewrote much of this article, and added more historical information. The article as it stood needed a serious cleanup, and also needed to be adjusted for WP:NPOV. The station lineup was removed, as the general consensus regarding broadcasting articles is not to act as a listening guide (WP:NOT). Also removed much of the redundant information, to allow for easier reading. --Fightingirish 21:38, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
