[edit] History
When this station first broadcasted in 1984, the station's name was "Lite Rock 105" and their slogan was "The Best Variety of the 60s, 70s, and Today". Then in the 1990s, it was "The Best Variety of the 60s, 70s, 80s and Today". The "LT" in its callsign KLTA stood for "Lite" as in Lite Rock 105.
In an effort to attract a younger audience, music of the 60s and 70s was dropped in 2000. In 2002, they went from "The Best Variety of the 80s, 90s, and Today" Adult Contemporary (AC) format to "Today's Best Variety" Hot Adult Contemporary (Hot AC) format. The station's name didn't match up with the slogan anymore so, in January of 2004, they went from "Lite Rock 105" to "FM 105.1".
In March of 2006, a Radio Data System (RDS) was installed to the transmitter which brought title and artist information along with the broadcast to cars that accept this signal. The website was later changed and an online stream was added in April of 2006.
