A full page press advert for The KLF's single "Justified and Ancient". This advertisement was placed in the New Musical Express (dated 23 November 1991) by or on behalf of KLF Communications to promote the KLF's latest single. Fair use is claimed to illustrate The KLF's promotional tactic of full-page adverts (mentioned throughout the article The KLF). It is also used to illustrate the ice-cream theme, which is discussed in the article Justified and Ancient.

Although the picture is subject to copyright I (Kingboyk) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

it is a low resolution copy of a widely circulated advertisement;
it does not limit the copyright owner's rights in any way.

This is a copyrighted image that has been released by a company or organization to promote their work or product in the media, such as advertising material or a promotional photo in a press kit.

The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide evidence of such ownership. Lack of such evidence is grounds for deletion.
