Klaus Ostwald (born August 26, 1958 in Bad Elster) is a former East German ski jumper who competed from 1979 to 1986. He won the 1983 Ski-flying World Championships with a leap of 183 meters.

Ostwald earned two medals in the team large hill at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a silver in 1984 and a bronze in 1985. His best individual finish at the world championships was 4th in the individual large hill in 1982.

Ostwald's best finish at the Winter Olympics was 13th in the normal hill at Sarajevo in 1984. He also had two other individual victories in his career as well (1982, 1983).
