Klara blocks

The Klara blocks (sv: Klarakvarteren) is a part of lower Norrmalm in the central part of Stockholm. This area went through a wave of demolitions during the 1950s and 60s. Most houses in this area was built during the early 1800s and before the demolitions the area was characterized by the many small shops and workshops. The new buildings on the other hand were mainly office buildings.
