Kjell Espmark

Professor Kjell Erik Espmark (born February 19, 1930 in Strömsund, Sweden), is a writer, literary historian, member of the Swedish Academy and Professor of the History of Literature at Stockholm University. He was elected to the Swedish Academy on March 5, 1981 and admitted on December 20 1981. Kjell Espmark succeeded the linguist Elias Wessén to Seat No.16.
