[edit] Plot summary
Kitty asks Eric if he wants to go shopping with her and he tells her no, so she tells Red that he used to love it. Red tells her that when a boy reaches that age they don't want to spend time with their mother so its not personal and if your going to get him to spend time with you then your going to have to force him. Later that night at dinner Eric ignores a question his mom makes and Red tells orders him to spend time with Kitty. Kitty tells him they'll go see a movie instead like a little date instead of shopping. The next day during their date they are eating pizza and Kitty tells him she just wanted to spend a little time outside the house and Eric tells her its ok. They go see "Annie Hall" watching the sex scenes and wondering what the other one is thinking. Coming home Eric asks her if she wants to see "Close Encounter" sometime and gives her a kiss on the cheek. Kitty starts to cry making Red mad at Eric at first, but Kitty tells him Eric was wonderful.
After school Kelso and Hyde are waiting for Eric to take them home again and they see Patty, from the blind date (Eric Gets Suspended), coming out of a foggy window car. They wait to see who had just got done making out with her and Fez comes out. Later that day Fez comes into the basement with Patty proudly announcing that she is his girlfriend.
Jackie starts to get jealous that Fez is not drooling over her like he usually does cause he has Patty. Jackie tells everyone she hates Patty which leads Donna to discover that Jackie does like Fez. She admits she likes him, but only if it was a quick fling and no one found out. Realizing she likes him she runs off screaming "I like Fez! Noooo!"
While playing Life at work with Leo, Hyde tells him that he is upset that Patty dogged him on the blind date and chose Fez instead of him because he taught Fez everything he knows. Leo is more concentrated on the game because he's a doctor and has kids, but in real life his kids split on him. Hyde then tells him his parents split on him, leading Leo to ask him if he wants to be his father which Hyde says yes and put his arm around him and spins the wheel.
