Kittatinny Regional High School

The Kittatinny Regional High School is a six-year comprehensive regional public high school and school district in Sussex County, New Jersey serving students in grades 7 - 12 from five municipalities in the northwest area of the county. The high school is located in Hampton, about 7 minutes outside of the County seat of Newton.

The high school serves over 1,300 students who reside in Fredon Township (258 students), Hampton Township (465 students), Sandyston Township (177 students), Stillwater Township (416 students) and Walpack Township (3 students).

Kittatinny Regional High School has been nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School, a Star School District, and in the 2005-06 school year, was awarded the honor of Goverener's School of Excellence.

The school has 209 students in 7th grade, 230 students in 8th grade, 227 students in 9th grade, 214 students in 10th grade, 224 students in 11th grade, 202 students in 12th grade and 5 students who are ungraded. With 1,311 students and 105.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), the school has a student / teacher ratio of 12.4.
