KitchenAid is a home appliance brand owned by Whirlpool Corporation that is most well known for their stand mixers. The company was started in 1919 by The Hobart Corporation to give restaurants a countertop alternative to their industrial sized mixers. The company was acquired by Whirlpool Corporation in 1986.
KitchenAid also has a line of branded cookware, but this is actually produced by Meyer Corporation.
