Kitagunma District, Gunma

Kitagunma (北群馬郡; -gun) is a district located in Gunma, Japan.
As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 49,658 and a density of 354.47 persons per km². The total area was 140.09 km².

- October 1, 1949 - The district was founded after 2 towns and 9 villages broke off from Gunma District.
- February 20, 2006 - Ikaho, Komochi, and Onogami, all of which had been part of the district, were merged with city of Shibukawa.
