Kit Bartlett

Christopher John Bartlett is a leading English cricket statistician.

Kit Bartlett was educated at Christ's Hospital in Horsham. He is married with three children and six grandchildren.

He is a founder member of the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians. He has contributed to the ACS Journals since the fifth edition. He is the author of "ACS Famous Cricketers" books on D.B.Close, P.A.Gibb, L.B.Fishlock and co-author of D.C.S.Compton, T.W.Hayward, James Lillywhite junior, D.L.Underwood and J.Wisden. He was a member of the ACS & H Committee from 1995 to 2006 and edited its "Famous Players" series from 1996 until 2006. He has researched for many ACS publications at the Colindale Newspaper Library and the Family Record Centre since the 1970s. He was appointed as the first ACS Obituaries editor in 2006.

He joined Surrey CCC in 1954 and MCC in 1971. He is a book collector who specialises in Wisden, CricketAnnuals and County Year Books. He has contributed to the Cricket Society Journals for over thirty years. He has the ambition to watch first class cricket on one hundred grounds. He has 97 to date.
