Kistrand

Kistrand (Northern Sami: Čuđegieddi) is a village in Porsanger municipality, Norway. It is located at on the western shore of the Porsangerfjord.
Kistrand was the name of the municipality Porsanger from 1837 to January 1, 1964. In 1837 Kistrand municipality encompassed the contemporary municipalities Porsanger, Nordkapp, Kautokeino and Karasjok.
