"Down Boy" (2002) |
"Kiss Kiss" is the debut single by Australian singer Holly Valance. The single was released on 29 April 2002 and debuted at number one in bother Australia and the UK.
"Kiss Kiss" was originally a Turkish song called "Şımarık" by Tarkan. It was originally translated into an English song by American artist Stella Soleil.
The music video for Valance's version featured her in a range of costumes with several male performers. The video attracted controversy when the director's cut (a risque version) appeared on television featuring Valance apparently naked. She maintains that she was not naked, and from the video, all we can see are well placed lights protecting her modesty. "Kiss Kiss" was nominated for 4 ARIA Awards at the 16th ARIA Awards in 2002.
