Kirovsky District (Russian: Ки́ровский райо́н) is a district (raion) located in the central portion of Primorsky Krai, Russia, on the banks of the Ussuri River. Population: 24,618 (2002 Census); 29,516 (1989 Census). Forests occupy half of the district's territory.

Sanatoria and health resorts development dominate the economy of the district. Agriculture, bee keeping, and timber cutting are considered prospective.

Rich in chemical components Shmakovskiye mineral springs (hydrocarbonated and calcium-magnesium), Narzan type, with limpid water rich in carbonic acid, are well-known. Shmakovka settlement is a unique health-center complex where is situated Imeni Pyatidesyatiletiya Oktyabrya Sanatorium for three hundred people.

The district's landmarks are a tower-chapel located on one of the highest viewpoints of Shmakovka Resort, and the old-time Ussuriysky Svyato-Troitsky (Saint Trinity) Nikolayevsky Orthodox Man's Cloister which was constructed in the end of 19th century and is the only one in the Russian Far East.

Due to its geographic position, climatic conditions, and natural resources this district may become a large recreation center of Primorye.
