  • Sorry, didn't see the discussion... I merely picked up that repeated edits were being made while I was on recent changes patrol. I have no vested interest in the page, so I'll let those who do discuss and act accordingly. Hi Kinu,

Sorry for my hostile tone-- I am new to wikipedia (in terms of editing, not reading) and am still learning about the ins and outs of how articles change. My only interest in this article is that I noticed that a long time ago a similar entry had been deleted for lack of qualified sourcing, and so I thought better sourcing would retain it, and I thought this issue in particular would be a good litmus test b/c its totally disgusting and I figured some people would object on those grounds and try to find excuses to delete.

I think that one criteria for speedy deletion is more than enough. Posting THREE of them is almost an attack on the user who created the article. JPG-GR 05:01, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Creating nonsensical articles about "the biggest tool" in one's fraternity is almost an attack on Wikipedia. I'm certain that notation of three {{db}} criteria is acceptable if all such criteria (A1, A7, and G10) are legitimate. But in all fairness, I don't want to look like a dick or make it appear that I'm biting the user who created it, so I'll keep that in mind. --Kinu t/c 05:07, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Thinking about this deletion, shouldn't you have told these high school students that their article was up for deletion using {{PRODWarning}}?     • Not really. People will balk at the idea of the articles being deleted, and when they're suddenly moved to AfD it can be a very intimidating experience. It's not uncommon for new users to remove prod tags as a knee-jerk reaction, without really understanding what they mean: you really need to make absolutely sure they know what's going on, especially if they're as obviously a well-meaning new user as this one. Even placing a tag on their talk page goes a long way toward avoiding an unpleasant "you deleted my article, fuck you all" reaction. --Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 23:44, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

I put one citation in but could not get it to work, so I was letting you know I will figure it out myself.   • You can talk about criticism of the movie that's been published in reputable, third party sources. Your own criticism, however, would fall under the purview of WP:NOR and WP:NPOV.   • Wikipedia has inclusion standards for groups and organization. It is impossible to find reliable sources indicating this group even exists (see Google), let alone any indication that it is notable. Nothing personal, but unless these standards are met, this article will be deleted, and speedily if there is no assertion of notability whatsoever. Perhaps Wikipedia is not the appropriate venue for all the information mentioned above... it is not a free webhost. Please read WP:ORG and add citations from reliable sources indicating which of these inclusion criteria the organization meets. Hi! You added this to CfD, but it was actually a candidate for speedy deletion, as it had just been created minutes earlier by a drive-by vandal, along with Category:Men without hats.
