[edit] Kinu -- stop reverting without discussing
Whats the deal? You keep reverting despite arguments I have made in discussion. This constitutes vandalism, I think. If you really disagree with my addition, make some arguments and we may need mediation. -PStrait
- Sorry, didn't see the discussion... I merely picked up that repeated edits were being made while I was on recent changes patrol. I have no vested interest in the page, so I'll let those who do discuss and act accordingly. And having been a Wikipedian for quite some time now, I am fully aware of the 3RR and had no intention of violating it. Thanks for the note. --Kinu t/c 05:09, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] sorry for my hostile tone
Hi Kinu,
Sorry for my hostile tone-- I am new to wikipedia (in terms of editing, not reading) and am still learning about the ins and outs of how articles change. My only interest in this article is that I noticed that a long time ago a similar entry had been deleted for lack of qualified sourcing, and so I thought better sourcing would retain it, and I thought this issue in particular would be a good litmus test b/c its totally disgusting and I figured some people would object on those grounds and try to find excuses to delete.

I think that one criteria for speedy deletion is more than enough. Posting THREE of them is almost an attack on the user who created the article. JPG-GR 05:01, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Creating nonsensical articles about "the biggest tool" in one's fraternity is almost an attack on Wikipedia. I'm certain that notation of three {{db}} criteria is acceptable if all such criteria (A1, A7, and G10) are legitimate. But in all fairness, I don't want to look like a dick or make it appear that I'm biting the user who created it, so I'll keep that in mind. --Kinu t/c 05:07, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Redirect on Attack of the Show
Thanks for your help with this! It's my first time creating a redirect. :) Gozel talk 20:27, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- No problem! I discovered the hard way that non-alphanumeric characters have to be written as they are, and that the Wiki software can't back-convert the %21 to ! like a browser would. Glad I could help. :) --Kinu t/c 20:30, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] National College of Music
--Paul cheater 17:51, 28 October 2006 (UTC)Kinu - I am the media relations officer for the college: do I not haver th right authority to copy my onw stuff?!!
- Another user and I have sufficiently addressed this issue on your talk page. And I would keep in mind that, despite your role, it's not your own property; it's property of the college. It must be officially released under GFDL to meet copyright requirements here. --Kinu t/c 17:54, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] They Call Me Mr.Chet
Thinking about this deletion, shouldn't you have told these high school students that their article was up for deletion using {{PRODWarning}}? Assuming that they know as much as you do, when they clearly don't, really is as bad as violating WP:BITE. Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 23:17, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Considering that the only contributor to the article removed the PROD tag almost immediately after I added it, it's kind of a moot point, don't you think? --Kinu t/c 23:34, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- Not really. People will balk at the idea of the articles being deleted, and when they're suddenly moved to AfD it can be a very intimidating experience. It's not uncommon for new users to remove prod tags as a knee-jerk reaction, without really understanding what they mean: you really need to make absolutely sure they know what's going on, especially if they're as obviously a well-meaning new user as this one. Even placing a tag on their talk page goes a long way toward avoiding an unpleasant "you deleted my article, fuck you all" reaction. --Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 23:44, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cyber Empires
Hi. I'm new at editing Wikipedia and not at all familiar with citing sources. I didn't have any on a tiny article I wrote, Cyber Empires. I put one citation in but could not get it to work, so I was letting you know I will figure it out myself. If I don't and someone does not come along and fix it on their own, I will refer back to you to see if you can help or just nominate it for deletion. Thanks.
[edit] Virtutti Militari
Do you know when the protection for Virtutti Militari will kick in? You're right, this is getting way out of hand with that idiot.

[edit] Viva Cuba
This time i tried to be critic solely of the movie... lets see how it goes. ¿Am i actually allowed to criticize the movie? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Voltairexxi (talk • contribs).
- You can talk about criticism of the movie that's been published in reputable, third party sources. Your own criticism, however, would fall under the purview of WP:NOR and WP:NPOV. I admit the current article is a little too much of a praise piece, but replacing POV content with POV content doesn't do much benefit. Thanks. --Kinu t/c 20:50, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Election results
I noticed you have been adding results for elections. While you do provide a source in the edit summary, it would be best if you could provide a link in the main article as well. Thanks. --tomf688 (talk - email) 13:09, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] hey
hey, u put a marker on my "Matt Plant" page because its mean or what ever, anyways, i am matt plant, lol, i just wanted to make a funny article about myself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lastribble (talk • contribs).
- Good to know. It still deserved speedy deletion anyway as a non-notable bio. --Kinu t/c 20:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- sigh* ok :( —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lastribble (talk • contribs).
[edit] NRK Poker League
Hello Kinu. How are you? I see that you have deleted/edited my editing of the Greed Jersey page and my new NRV Poker League page. I would sincerely appreciate it if you would allow me to finish creating my NRV page...at which time I am sure you will see that my "homegame" transcends the recent poker phenomenon and will provide a stastical data system that actally can be used by the millions of players involved in regular poker home games. Thank you Kinu.
Best Regards, RS —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RyanShermanDC (talk • contribs).
- Wikipedia has inclusion standards for groups and organization. It is impossible to find reliable sources indicating this group even exists (see Google), let alone any indication that it is notable. Nothing personal, but unless these standards are met, this article will be deleted, and speedily if there is no assertion of notability whatsoever. Perhaps Wikipedia is not the appropriate venue for all the information mentioned above... it is not a free webhost. Try Geocities or another such provider. --Kinu t/c 16:55, 17 November 2006 (UTC) (copied from Talk:NRV Poker League)
[edit] Revisit of AfD for The WiseGuys
I would like to see if you had changed your views concerning the AfD for The Wiseguys: Comedy You Can't Refuse. There have been major edits performed to the enrty in an attempt to meet Wikipedia:Notability (comedy) since your comment on the talk page. Any additional comments would be appreciated in the effort to make the entry comply.
Thank you for your consideration.Apatronoftruth 18:37, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for you note, but I don't see anything indicating that I would change my recommendation. --Kinu t/c 06:36, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dwight D Loving
Hi; would bet real money that this is a copyvio, but there are just too many Google hits to track down!--Anthony.bradbury 23:12, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- True... it smells like a text dump from the actual record of the case, which would probably make it government-produced and thus public domain. I figured unless I was sure I'd leave it be, with the {{tone}} tag. Might as well keep investigating! --Kinu t/c 23:16, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notability
http://nesohr.org is a human rights organisation in Sri Lanka.Sri Lankan Member of Parliamnent have been its members why question is notabilty. It is human rights organisation in a conflict torn zone where human rights is being abused.why object to this page sorry did not get what you want. Can u please be clear .thanks Harlowraman
- Nothing personal... the addition of the tag was merely implied as a request for more information. Please read WP:ORG and add citations from reliable sources indicating which of these inclusion criteria the organization meets. As I am not familiar with this organization, expanding the article as such would be helpful. Thanks for your note. --Kinu t/c 06:31, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] History of Burnside High School
Hi, Kinu
I understand about your opinion on the History of Burnside Article merging with the Burnside High School Article, but unfortunately, by the time I've finished writing the article (expect it mostly finished by 30/11/06) it will be too long for the article.
At this time, I've commented out the Mergeto tag.
If you feel otherwise, please do feel free to tell me
Thanks rpgsimmaster
- Thanks for your note. I'll revisit this in a couple of weeks. --Kinu t/c 06:09, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Men with hats
Hi! You added this to CfD, but it was actually a candidate for speedy deletion, as it had just been created minutes earlier by a drive-by vandal, along with Category:Men without hats. The speedy deletion criteria WP:CSD#G1 which is {{db-nonsense}} is a general criteria; it can be used on all wikispace, including categories..-- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 07:12, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why'd you not allow my page?!
So why did you yell at me for posting a entry about someone's life??? I'm not attacking him, it's actually part of an intervention effert to get my friend to stop his bad habits. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by WilliamsJK2 (talk • contribs).
- Attack or not, it failed notability criteria, did not contain any assertion of notability whatsoever, and was unencyclopedic. Wikipedia is not a place to beget catharsis. Please read the site's inclusion guidelines for articles. --Kinu t/c 22:22, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deletions
Hi Kinu,
I was looking for some articles on British politics and came across Blaze359. Unfortunately, the issues are US politics, but I was impressed with the way you've explained to the user why the articles are up for deletion! Well done! --Mike 14:31, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
