[edit] John Lasher
I'm sorry you feel that way, but I hold no grudge - this is not personal. But based on Wikipedia policy and guidelines regarding autobiography and vanity pages, I simply don't believe it is either proper for him to post an autobiography here, nor is his status notable enough. This is not a place to advertise yourself. Besides, don't you guys have more important things to be doing than trying to get yourselves into the Wikipedia...like making a Kinopanorama movie or two? :) Girolamo Savonarola 02:36, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
You can discuss the matter on the article's deletion discussion page (linked to within the AfD box at the top of the article), but it is not me you need to convince, it is the community at large. Please read the policy pages I have linked to, as they will clarify the matters. Your notability standards may not be the same as this site's. I do have one question, though - you and Ms. Clarke are both associates who work with Mr. Lasher, yes? Girolamo Savonarola 02:58, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
Please read this section carefully. You are associated with him in a professional capacity. I assume that you know Ms. Clarke personally as well. Your subject does not meet notability standards or vanity page standards (which need not be self-written). Please read the policy and address the policy concerns at the page's deletion discussion on AfD, not here, which will have no bearing on their decision. I have nothing further to discuss on this matter unless these are addressed. Thanks, Girolamo Savonarola 03:08, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Upload jpeg still for Kinopanorama website.
I had nothing to do with the Image:Htwww-screenshot.gif at all. If you want to add pictures to Wikipedia just click on the "Upload file" link. You would then have to pick the correct licence, which other than photos that I have created I really know little about. I think that you might want to look at Help:Contents/Images and media. Good luck. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 05:30, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] how do I change the password for this account?
Mr Jeremy Sefton-Parke, who used this account previously, has been evicted from our local office due to improper conduct. Therefore, in order to prevent him from using either my name or contributing anything about me in the future on this particular user account, it will be necessary for the Wiki administrators to instruct me how I may change the current password, which I now have, to prevent him from accessing it. [edit] Gocta Cataracts, etc
I read through all the comments and looked at the edits. The first thing I did was to restore all the comments on Talk:Gocta Cataracts to the correct version. However, that is not to say that I agree or disagree with any of them.
It appears that 201.240.125.208 has not edited since April 10 and because it's more a content dispute than vandalism I have asked them to discuss first. They don't merit a block at this time as they haven't done anything to deserve one.
I have warned 200.106.32.160 over their changing of your remarks.
I have put all the articles you mentioned on my watchlist (plus Waterfall so that I can monitor the situation. If for some reason the reversion become heavy you can request protection for the page at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. Also remember not to violate Wikipedia:Three-revert rule.
Lastly I warned 139.168.199.140 due to their removal of remarks. I was wondering if that is your IP and you sometimes forget to log in? Let me know if anything more occurs. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 15:37, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- OK. Like I said on 139.168.199.140 don't remove others comments even if you think they are wrong. The only thing you should remove is personal attacks. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 23:15, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
