[edit] Helpme
How do you recommend pages for deletion? King nothing 14:24, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- There are 3 main ways:
- Speedy deletion. If the page falls under a speedy deletion criterion then you place a template on it and an admin will delete it. This is explained at Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion
- Prod, explained at Wikipedia:Proposed deletion
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where a discussion takes place about whether or not the page should be deleted.
- Wikipedia:Deletion policy has an overview. Alternatively you could just tell me what the page is and I will advise on the best option.--Commander Keane 14:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles
Just noticed these two articles when looking about, explained about them in their talk pages: 1, 2 King nothing 14:34, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion
I noticed you put {{db}} on two articles saying they existed elsewhere, which is not a valid reason for speedy deletion. In this case, the best thing to do would be to redirect to that article. Royboycrashfan 14:43, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] UK designations
I think you will find that something needs to go in front of "SP" otherwise the designation would start "Self Propelled"..... compare with the Abbot which is Field Artillery, Self-propelled, Abbot. GraemeLeggett 15:58, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] postwar british aircraft template
This navigational template that you've been adding is gigantic, and could just as easily be served by a category system. Also, consider aircraft used by multiple forces - if one country has a template, they all should, and then you get a huge mess of templates that's four times longer than the article. Never mind the fact that 'multinational collaboration' is not a type or category of aircraft design like fighter or bomber. ericg ✈ 01:55, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

- Fine, thanks for clarifying. Another comment like that (explicit or not) will get you blocked for WP:NPA. I would like to ask you nicely, again, to please contribute without being nasty to other users. Sebastian Kessel Talk 21:33, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Newcastle purchase of Bernard
dude i was wondering why you removed my small addition to the part of the Newcastle United article regarding the transfer of Olly Bernard, i can't see any cogent reason for the removal as i don't believe it was biased and the move was highly favoured, sorry for any inconvenince mate please replyCrabman123 21:42, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Because it wasn't neutral, it sounded more like a personel opinion, rather than a mass opinion to me. King nothing 22:15, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Air forces in the Falklands War
Hi King nothing. I was wondering, if you have some information regarding the four engined heavies, used in the Falklands War. I know that 13 Nimrod MR Mk. 2 was patrolling in the Southern Atlantic, and that Squadrons 42, 120, 201 and 206 provided the planes, but do you know how many Nimrods from each squadron that participated. They all seems to come from RAF Kinloss. By the way, what Sidewinder type were they issued with, Bravo or Gulf?
20 Victor K Mk. 2 participated from Squadrons 55 and 57, but how many from which squadron?
What Hercules squadrons participated in the long-range drops, and with how many air planes? Regards Necessary Evil 22:28, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template Edits
Please don't just randomly edit templates, such as Template:MotleyCrue. Their level of organization is important for clarity purposes. Darwin's Bulldog 21:33, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
