Kintera

Kintera®, Inc. provides an online software solution to help nonprofit organizations deliver The Giving Experience™ to donors – including giving convenience, financial transparency, feedback about the social impact of their gifts, and a sense of belonging and appreciation.[1]

Kintera was co-founded in the year 2000 by Harry E. Gruber, M.D.[2] On December 18, 2003, Kintera announced its Initial Public Offering and is now quoted on the NASDAQ under the trading symbol KNTA.[3]

The name "Kintera" originated through the what the company calls its Knowledge Interaction technology.[4] Dr. Gruber currently leads Kintera and its management team as its Chief Executive Officer.[1] The company employs 471 employees and is based in San Diego, CA.[5]

Kintera’s products focus on emarketing, communications, programs, services and online fundraising.[6] Kintera Sphere™, Kintera's software platform, includes a social CRM system (constituent relationship management), a content management system (CMS), E-marketing, directed giving applications, P!N and FundWare.[1]
