Kinokawa, Wakayama

Kinokawa (紀の川市; -shi) is a city located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 70,067 and a population density of 307 persons per km². The total area is 228.54 km². The city was founded on November 11, 2005, as a result of the merger between the towns of Uchita, Kokawa, Naga, Momoyama and Kishigawa from Naga District.
