Kingsland is a city in Cleveland County, Arkansas, United States. Its population was 449 at the 2000 U.S. census. It is included in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Kingsland is located at 33°51′41″N, 92°17′39″W (33.861397, -92.294200)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.9 km² (1.1 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 449 people, 177 households, and 121 families residing in the city. The population density was 154.8/km² (401.4/mi²). There were 211 housing units at an average density of 72.7/km² (188.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 62.14% White, 35.41% Black or African American, 1.34% Native American, 0.22% Asian, and 0.89% from two or more races. 1.78% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 177 households out of which 29.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.7% were married couples living together, 13.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.6% were non-families. 31.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.20.

In the city the population was spread out with 29.8% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 19.6% from 45 to 64, and 14.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 86.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.7 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $20,536, and the median income for a family was $28,958. Males had a median income of $26,667 versus $16,250 for females. The per capita income for the city was $9,500. About 28.0% of families and 33.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 42.9% of those under age 18 and 26.1% of those age 65 or over.
