Kingskerswell

Kingskerswell, is a village located in Devon, England. It is situated between Torquay and Newton Abbot, and the main road (the A380) running through the village is the main road between the two. The village is run by a Parish Council, and has several churches situated throughout the village.

Kingskerswell is twinned with the German town of Lonsee.

The Church of England situated in the village is one of only 52 known to display an image of Saint Apollonia.

[edit] The Kingskerswell Bypass

The Kingskerswell Bypass is a plan by Devon County Council to alleviate traffic on the A380 running through the village, and to build a motorway around it.

Plans for the bypass have been around since the 1950's, but only a small amount of action has been taken since that time.
