Kingsauce
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kingsauce, an extension of the Elephant 6 Collective, is a "novelty-pop" project headed by Rich Chodes. Combining elements of mid-1960s pop, 1970s AM radio, and a touch of vaudeville, Kingsauce creates catchy tunes with silly, tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Picture Randy Newman meets the Monkees and you'll get the idea! Their last full length cd "Cancelled" is due out in December 2006. Stay tuned! Richie was also a member of Vince Mole and his Calcium Orchestra, headed by former Apples in Stereo guitarist Chris Parfitt.
