The following is a list of known Sovereigns who ruled over the Kingdom of the Pride Lands in the fictional The Lion King universe, in chronological order with their respective Consorts:

- According to the Lion King musical Scar had no queen and we never see one in the first movie, although the musical is different from the movie, for example Rafiki is female. However, the movie's sequel The Lion King II: Simba's Pride hints Zira might have been his queen. In a scene that was removed from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Zira mentions that she was Scar's loving, devoted queen. Since this scene was removed it cannot be considred official canon. Two of Zira's cubs, Nuka and possibly Vitani, are likely to be Scar's children. The issue with Zira being Scar's wife is the implication that Kovu would thus (presumably) be Scar's son, making him and Kiara related.
- Although Disney canon does not mention it, Kovu is not technically Simba's heir. He is Prince Consort.
